We provide all supplies needed for the event. A registration form is required for the youth academies & culture camps. Academy/Camp enrollment is taken on a first come, first serve basis.

Date Title Description
Current Dzantik’i Heeni Traditional Arts Class The 7th and 8th grade classes at Dzantik’i Heeni Middle School are learning Northwest Coast traditional art for two semesters during the 2013 – 2014 school year.  Students work with traditional artists from the community and integrate math, heritage language and literacy skills.
June 11 Canoe Welcoming Many will gather for the 2014 Annual Canoe Welcoming.  Canoes from Angoon, Hoonah, Hydaburg, Kake, Sitka and Wrangell will reach the Auke Bay shore. Join the Canoe Welcoming to greet the paddlers.  Location: Auke Village Recreation Area.
July 7-18 High School Youth Academy Tlingit language, values, and pedagogy will bridge with rigorous science content through immersion experiences that emphasize natural processes, ecology and cultural relationships to the land.  Registration is required and the application will be posted soon.
