sit (for singular subject to be seated)

Theme:
S-ø-.aa~ (position)
for (singlular) S to be seated
Naish-Story:
ya-.aa
Plural:
ñee
Notes:
This verb only occurs in the imperfective. Note that a noun phrase with (-t) postposition is used to indicate where one is sitting, but this noun phrase is not required by the verb. For example, one could say: .áa "s/he is sitting", or: át .áa "s/he is sitting there." The plural verb stem is used when indicating that one person is sitting with another, even though the subject is singular. For example, du een ñéen "s/he is sitting with him/her" or du een ýañéen "I am sitting with him/her".
